KOEMAN READY TO SELL BARKLEY

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is ready to offload 23-year-old England international Ross Barkley off Goodison Park.

The former Southampton coach arrived at the blue side of Merseyside last summer, is being reported to have not been impressed by Barkley, and has ran out of patience with the Everton No. 8.

As the opening of the January transfer window draw close, the Dutch is ready to listen to offers for Barkley who currently has 18 months left of his current £65,000 per-week deal and more particularly to avoid Everton from losing out completely and watch their once famed crown prince leave for free.

North London-based Tottenham Hotspur are reported to have been on the trails of the Three Lion’s midfielder’s contract situation and may pounce should theyget a whiff of the full extent of the bad blood between player and coach. Read more »

Nice Capture Mario Balotelli from Liverpool on a Free Transfer

Marie Balotelli has been regarded as the epitome of wasted talent and he confirmed this once again after securing a move to French club Nice on transfer deadline day.

Nice have been able to secure the 26-year-old on a free transfer just two years after he had completed a £ 16 million move from AC Milan to Liverpool. Then-manager Brendan Rodgers claimed that the signing of Balotelli was a huge gamble, but he was left with little options in the transfer window to assist Daniel Sturridge after the departure of Luis Suarez. The gamble, though, has been a major failure, as the striker has been able to score only four goals in 28 games.

Even though Liverpool only recently sold Christian Benteke to Crystal Palace, it seems that manager Jurgen Klopp did not see Balotelli as a member of the squad. Apart from Balotelli and then decay, have also allowed Luis Alberto. The Spaniard has joined Lazio for around £ 4.3 million, which marks a significant loss over the £ 7 million that they paid to the striker three years ag. However, the sell on clause inserted into his contract is worth 30% and Liverpool will be able to receive some fee if they sell him on later.

Balotelli has been told to find new club by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp

Balotelli has been told to find new club by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Italian striker clearly does not have a future at Liverpool and this may also be the case with regard to English football. Balotelli has failed spectacularly in his second spell in the Premier league and it is highly unlikely that other clubs will try and take a new gamble on the former Inter Milan star. This leaves Balotelli with very few choices to seal the deal before the start of the season. There have been several accusations about Balotelli not being professional enough.

The striker’s agent has confirmed that his client is now seeking a move to Europe’s mainland and he is willing to give his 100% to clubs. His agent, Mino Raiola, also says that Balotelli has struggled to make a major impact since he has been unable to find the right opportunity. It is highly likely that Balotelli will favour a return to the Italian Serie A rather than play in the Spanish league or the German Bundesliga. There is also a possibility that he would join a club in the French league – especially after the departure of many superstars like Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Benteke has not travelled with the Liverpool squad for the US pre-season tour.

Brendan Rodgers admits he was forced to sign Balotelli

Brilliant but undisciplined, these are the words that are usually used to describe Mario Balotelli as the Italian striker has displayed top class abilities but at the same time, he has been seen doing questionable things not only inside the pitch but also outside of it as well and this is why there are so many clubs and managers that haven’t taken the risk of signing him even with the talent that he has showed.

For a fee of £16 million, Mario Balotelli was signed and the main reason of why the Italian attacker was signed had to do with Luis Suarez, the Uruguayan striker was offloaded to Barcelona and Liverpool signed Balotelli as a way to fill in the spot that was left by Suarez and Balotelli was signed.

Unfortunately for Liverpool and for Brendan Rodgers who was the coach of Liverpool during this period of time, Balotelli failed to prove his worth as he struggled trying to score goals as he only managed to score 1 goal in 16 appearances.

The former Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers has recently spoke up and said that he was actually forced to sign Mario Balotelli and that it was never actually his intention to sign the Italian forward. Read more »

Steven Gerrard claims that he is feeling extremely proud and happy

Former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard claims that he is feeling extremely proud and happy to be following in the footsteps of legends like Landon Donovan and David Beckham at LA Galaxy.

Gerrard will be the new marquee player at LA Galaxy, who are one of the big names in North American football. He made the switch from Liverpool to the MLS on a free transfer after his contract with the Merseyside club came to an end. After signing a two-year contract with LA Galaxy, Gerrard has begun training with the team. Regarded as the finest midfielder of his generation, Gerrard will be a major force to reckon with in the MLS.

Even for a big player like Gerrard, it will be tough to go beyond the history of Landon Donovan at the club. Donovan recently retired from all forms of football, but his achievements with LA Galaxy will not be forgotten. The history, though, will be forgotten for the time being since the club will be looking to get the right kind of form after the arrival of Gerrard. Bruce Arena and LA Galaxy have made a very poor start to the season. Despite winning four out of the last five matches, the club still find themselves fourth in the table. Read more »

Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli is a major doubt

Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli is a major doubt for the match against Stoke City.

This is the final match of the campaign and it could hold a lot of significance for Balotelli’s future at Anfield. After having scored only one league goal throughout the campaign, it has been widely speculated that the Italian international may be sold very soon. He came to Liverpool for £ 16 million, but the Merseyside outfit are expected to cut their losses sooner rather than later. Balotelli has scored only three goals in 21 appearances across all competitions.

Liverpool’s failure to secure Champions League football has largely been put down to the poor performances by the former Manchester City striker. Despite his uncertain future, Balotelli played a number of minutes during the month of April. However, he has not featured for the club since the 1-0 defeat against Hull City. It looks unlikely that he will appear in the final match of the season as well. Hence, it is effectively thought that Balotelli’s career at Anfield is almost over and he may wear a different jersey going into the new season. More importantly, Rodgers will also have to think about replacing Steven Gerrard who leaves for LA Galaxy. Read more »

Brendan Rodgers has revealed that it was striker Mario Balotelli’s decision

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed that it was striker Mario Balotelli’s decision to not be part of the match against Arsenal due to an unspecified medical condition.

The striker was not in the matchday squad and it turned out to be a very bad day for Liverpool. The club lost 4-1 against the gunners and it has effectively ended any hopes of Champions League qualification for next season. Balotelli has been a controversial figure at Liverpool this campaign. After making a £ 16 million move from AC Milan in the summer, the striker was seen as a major gamble due to his troublesome nature.

More worryingly, Liverpool have had to deal with poor form from the striker throughout the campaign. He has failed to settle into the team that previously scored a lot of goals with Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez leading the line. For much of the campaign, Sturridge has found himself on the sidelines. This has contributed to Balotelli playing on his own up front for the Reds. Astonishingly, the striker has managed only three goals this season and only one of them has come in the Premier League.Rodgers was a disappointed man after the loss against Arsenal, but he still had to explain the reason for Balotelli’s omission.
